Northeast Ohio Medical University

Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) is a dynamic institution of higher learning. Established in 1973, the University trains physicians, pharmacists, researchers and other health professionals in an inter professional environment.

NEOMED improves the health, economy, and quality of life in Northeast Ohio through the medical, pharmacy, and health sciences education of students and practitioners at all levels; the development of new knowledge through research in the biomedical, community health and behavioral sciences; and the provision of community service and health education throughout the Northeast Ohio region.

Sequoia Wellness Center

The NEW Center is home to the Sequoia Wellness Center, an exceptional amenity for both corporate events as well as fundraisers. Whether you want to add rock climbing to your next corporate retreat in Ohio, or mid-day yoga to break up sessions of your next corporate seminar, our wellness center’s pools, rock wall, exercise equipment and staff members can add something extra to your event.

Located in Rootstown, Ohio, The NEW Center is just a short drive from Akron, North Canton, Kent, Youngstown, and other cities in the Northeast Ohio region. With hundreds of hotel rooms located within several miles of The NEW Center, shuttle service before and after your event can be arranged for your attendees.
